I’m Jason Norman, an innovation strategist with over 20 years of experience helping businesses unlock new growth opportunities. My career journey has positioned me as a recognized visionary, strategist, and tactician in solving complex business challenges across multiple industries including energy, specialty chemicals, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, health, consumer products and food.

My path began designing equipment for oil and gas refineries, where I developed one of the first digital twins of a complex process. I discovered that the process of creating the digital twin was just as valuable as the final twin product – it provided critical insights that helped solve important problems holding the technology back. This experience has direct parallels to how AI functions today as a tool for deeper understanding.

I’m passionate about finding better ways to do things. AI serves as both thought partner and tool – when used effectively, it quickly helps identify critical issues and leads to better problem definition. This approach has been central to my leadership in innovation strategy.

Throughout my career in innovation and strategy, I’ve focused on unleashing new growth opportunities. I thrive on working alongside executives and teams to help them break through obstacles and realize positive change. By understanding a company’s products, markets, value chain, and regional impact, I identify and implement initiatives that lead to improved returns and benefits for all stakeholders.

With six years running my own innovation consulting business, I understand the pressures executives face from P&L, people, culture, and operations perspectives. I apply my AI skills to my own work just as rigorously as I do for clients, constantly looking for efficiency gains and breakthrough thinking.
